Friday 7AM Plenty of action through out the day- however keeper fluke were elusive. We worked several areas ending the day with 7 keeps and a pretty nice haul of Seabass. Mike Melillo who had a hot hand on WEDNESDAY MANAGED 1 keeper, but it was the right one. He won the pool and bested wife Cathy for a 2nd straight trip. Magic Hours 8/20 Family and Friends gathered to celebrate the life of Norbert William Ratajczak with a Memorial Service and some fishing to follow. Great short action along with some pretty big sharks. We managaed only 3 keepers but everyone had a great time. Rip Norbert!
GREAT DAY TO BE ON THE WATER, COOL BREZZE OVERCAST AND THE FISH COOPERATED AS WELL. We sailed with a light crowd and we were rewarded. Roy Rosaminnie and Victor Ortiz both had limits today, Mike Melillo out fished wife Cathy 2 to 1, and brought home the beacon winning the pool. Big John boated a keeper late in the day after numerous shorts, Sidewinder Chris Schukis also found a lone keeper after culling plenty of shorts. Captain and mate each added one to the box as well. End of the day total 14 keepers and 118 shorts. Sailing Open Friday 7AM.

SATURDAY 8/14 MAGIC HOURS, IT WAS A SLOW NIGHT. WE ONLY MANAGED A DOZEN SHORT FLUKE WITH THE BIGGEST BEING 17.5 INCHES. ELI SANTIAGO WON THE POOL CRITERIA.
EAST ORANGE ANGLERES WERE ABOARD SUNDAY AND WE FISHED SOME NEW GROUNDS. LANDED MACKERAL - TRIGGERS - SEA BASS -PORGIES- AND FLUKE. PLENTY OF ACTION FOR THE DAY. CHARLIE SNYDER FROM WEST ORANGE WAS ON FIRE WITH A LIMIT ,WHICH ALSO INCLUDED THE 3.5 POUND POOL FISH.
MAGIC HOURS 8/15 WELL WE TOOK A LITTLE RIDE AND IT PAID SOME DIVIDENDS. STEADY SHORT ACTION WITH 7 KEEPS IN THE MIX. POOL WINNER CHRIS KENNY FROM WOODBRIDGE.
Troop 86 Marlboro, Scouts and Leaders wwere happy to be on the water after a year off. Plenty of action with shortsd and sharks, but only one keeper for the night. Pictured below Mike DeCarlo.
The Annnual Wines Charter was another succes(NO RAIN) as we traveled way to many miles today for only a few keepers. Short action was off as well. We did see some quaility today from left to right-Kenny Hagel 6.8, Kyle Wines 4.0, Chris Chan 3.7 Monte with 2lber.
MISTY MORN MASTERS $960 - Only 4.8 is holding the lead, very beatable.
Thursday's night trip lacked the Magic. Short provided some action , no keeper fluke for our small crowd. We did however land a keeper Weakfish.
Friday we had Bartels Landscaping out for the annual charter. Dogs and shorts provided action all day. We managed to land 9 keepers for the day. Not bad from what I heard on the radio. Owner Barry was HH with 2 flukes. Almost everyone cuaght something that swam.. Overall it was a great time.
